Youth Leading the Way: A Breakout Outreach in Tyler

ree

On Sunday, July 27th, 2025, something powerful happened in the heart of Tyler. After the morning service at Church Under A Bridge, the youth stepped out in faith and action, partnering with 41 Ministries to serve a meal to over 150 homeless individuals. What started as an idea for a breakout outreach project became a beautiful example of what happens when young people put the love of Christ into motion.

Serving With Purpose

The energy and compassion of the youth group could be felt in every part of the day. From preparing food to handing out plates with a smile, they showed that outreach is not just about meeting physical needs—it’s about showing dignity, respect, and love to every person. Together, with the support of 41 Ministries, they created a space where the hungry were fed, the lonely were seen, and hope was restored.

More Than a Meal

For many of those served, the food was only part of the blessing. Conversations, prayers, and genuine connections were shared across the tables. The youth learned that when we take the time to listen and care, lives are touched in ways far deeper than a hot plate of food. This experience didn’t just impact the community—it transformed the hearts of the young people serving.

The Ripple Effect

This breakout outreach was more than a one-day event. It was a reminder that small acts of service can spark a movement of compassion across East Texas. When youth step up to serve, they not only bring immediate relief to those in need but also inspire others—young and old alike—to get involved.
